Eyeglass Watchmaker loupe with Clip 4X, Black

We build the 7913-2.5 for the watchmaker who already wears spectacles at the bench. The spring clip clamps onto your spectacle frame, holding the 4x biconvex lens in front of your own glass. You flip it up when looking across the bench and drop it down to inspect an escapement.

Biconvex lens

The lens delivers 4x magnification with a 2.5 strength rating. It provides a flat field of view across the dial or movement plate without forcing your head down against the bench mat.

Spectacle frame clip

The spring clip mounts onto either the left or the right side of your glasses. It seats over the frame wire and stays put while you move between parts trays and the staking set.

Threaded bezel ring

The optical element is secured by a screw cap. You unscrew the front ring by hand to take the glass out for washing or to swap in a replacement lens if the face becomes marked.

Black body cup

The black housing blocks side glare under the bench lamp. It leaves the line of sight clear down through the optical axis, keeping stray light from washing out the view of the bridge.
