5X Watchmaker Eyeglasses Loupe Biconvex Air 2

We turn the body of the 2611-TN with an air port to let heat escape while you work over a movement. The biconvex lens gives five times magnification across a 25 mm field. It rests in the eye orbit or under a wire holder without tipping forward.

Biconvex lens

The 25 mm glass optic is curved on both faces to bring small pivots and jewel holes into crisp view. Five times magnification suits bridge assembly and escapement checks where wider context still matters.

Ventilated cup

We cut an opening directly into the side of the housing. This vent allows air circulation inside the cup so moisture does not collect on the inner glass face during long stretches at the bench.

Body contour

The flared rim seats into the eye socket using light muscle tension. The balance point sits near the face, which keeps the loupe steady when you tilt your head down toward the movement holder.

Lens cleaning

Dust lifts off the glass with an air blower or dry lens paper. Keep oil and solvents away from the retaining ring so the optic stays seated firmly in its frame.
