Reluming hands requires a binder that flows evenly and sets without shrinking away from the frames. Our 5680-V-07 preparation combines luminous powder and dedicated varnish without adding water. Work the blend in the small pot until the density matches the job at hand.
Preparation and mixing
Blend the dry powder and the varnish in equal measures within the mixing vessel. The compound relies entirely on its dedicated binder rather than water. A drop of thinner softens the mixture if it turns heavy during work.
Applying to hands
Draw the mixed paste across the underside of the hand using the small applicator. The material bridges the open skeleton cleanly. It stays workable long enough to dress the edges before the binder begins to skin over.
Setting and curing
Leave the finished hands to rest at room temperature to dry over several hours. An oven speeds the cure when required for assembly. Let the compound stabilize fully before placing hands back over a clean dial.
Bench storage
Keep the bottles capped tight between jobs so the carrier fluids do not evaporate away. The dry powder stores indefinitely in its vial. Wash the mixing pot and applicator clear of residue before the paste hardens completely.
