Reluming hands requires a compound that flows cleanly into the skeleton frame without slumping. We supply catalogue 5680-J-07 as a yellow luminous paste prepared with a varnish base rather than water. It mixes directly on your palette and dries stable across the open aperture of a hand.
Water-free preparation
This formulation relies on a varnish base rather than added water. You mix the luminous powder and varnish in equal measure on a clean glass plate until the paste draws smoothly on an oiler tip.
Thinner adjustment
If the combined paste sits too thick for a narrow hand aperture, add a drop of thinner. The fluid balance controls how the mixture bridges the metal edges without sagging beneath the frame.
Yellow tone
We tint the pigment to a yellow shade for modern dial work and service replacements. The material cures to a steady surface that holds its color under normal bench light.
Palette application
Work the mixed compound with a fine spatulate tool or an oiler wire from the underside of the hand. Store the components tightly stoppered away from dust between bench services.
