We make the 6808-V bench top to give you a clean, rigid surface right under the pegwood and tweezers. The green plastic stays hard under point loads from movement holders and case vices. Peel the backing on the underside to fix the sheet flat against your wood benchtop.
Hard green surface
The green plastic sheet provides a firm foundation where small parts remain visible. It will not yield or cushion under heavy movement holders, so your tools rest on a level plane.
Self-adhesive underside
The back of the sheet carries an adhesive layer. Once pressed down onto clean timber or laminate, the mat stays fixed in place and will not slide as you pivot your hands.
Low profile sheet
The thin sheet sits almost flush with the surrounding workbench surface. Tools slide across the edge without catching, and parts do not roll into a raised border.
Benchtop upkeep
Wipe the plastic face down with a dry cloth or Rodico to clear debris and filings. Keep solvent baths away from the adhesive edge so the backing stays stuck down firm.
