We fit each screwdriver in the 30081-AC10 series with an octagonal swivel head. The flat facets give the index finger steady purchase while the barrel turns between thumb and forefinger. Hardened stainless steel blades fit straight into the barrel ferrules.
Octagonal swivel head
The head turns freely on the barrel while its flat facets rest against your finger. It stays put under light downward pressure without shifting during the turn.
Stainless steel barrel
Knurling along the shank gives purchase to the fingers without tearing skin. The barrel is turned from stainless steel to keep its balance across long bench sessions.
Hardened stainless blades
We shape each blade to seat squarely in movement screw slots. The metal is hardened so the profile holds its ground against the slot walls.
Storage in the box
The fitted box holds the tools in order across the bench. Each driver lifts out by the barrel and returns to its place when the bridge is secured.

A note that touches this tool
Reading a catalogue number
What the parts of a Bergeon reference number mean, why the number is how a tool is asked for, how a suffix marks a size or a variant of the same family, and how to find the spare blade for a handle you already own.
Choosing a blade width
Why a screwdriver is chosen by the width of its blade rather than by its name, what happens to a screw head when the blade is a step too narrow, how the blades are stepped through the range, and how a worn blade is dressed or swapped.
