We supply these lower suction heads under catalogue number 55-102 for watch cases lacking notches or slots on the back. The soft adiprene cups grip flat surfaces by friction alone. They mount directly into our bench vices, including the 5700z, to support the case from beneath.
Adiprene cup material
The contact surface uses an adiprene formulation that conforms to smooth metal and glass under light downward pressure. It holds the case by friction rather than mechanical teeth.
Three cup diameters
The set provides three distinct pad diameters: 19mm, 26mm, and 34mm. You select the diameter that fits within the perimeter of the case back without riding over the rim or touching the lugs.
Adjustable working height
Each pad features height adjustment on its mount. This lets you align the watch flat against the upper tool face and keep the case level while turning.
Fixture compatibility
We turn the lower spigot to seat into our case opening vices, including the 5700z frame. The head drops into the lower receiver and locks in place during the opening stroke.
