2.5X Watchmaker Eyeglasses Loupe Biconvex Air

The cup of our 2611-TN loupe seats into the orbit with a light, plain contour. It carries a 2.5X biconvex lens for general bench work, inspection, and assembly. A small opening in the wall lets air move across the inside of the glass while you work.

Biconvex 25 mm lens

We mount a 25 mm biconvex lens into the top of the body. The magnification gives a broad field of view over plates, bridges, and screw heads without bringing your nose down against the bench mat.

Cup with air opening

The wall of the cup is pierced with an air opening. Warm air leaves the chamber instead of condensing across the inner face of the glass while you hold it in place.

Body shape and fit

We turn the outer rim thin so the body sits between the brow and cheek without heavy muscle tension. The cup holds its position under an ordinary wire headband or held directly in the eye socket.

Bench care and cleaning

Dust settles on the optical surfaces over a working day. Blow loose grit away with a hand blower before wiping the glass with a dry lens cloth, keeping oil and bench solvents away from the mount.
