A worn blade will bottom out in a fine screw slot or ride up the walls. We turn these flat replacement blades to match our 30080 and 30081 series handles. The 0.6 mm tip takes the white color ring at the bench.
Ground tip face
We grind the working faces flat so the tip seats deep into narrow slot screws across small movement bridges. Dressing the end on an India stone keeps the edge square over months at the bench.
Fitting the ferrule
The shank slides directly into the collet of our 30080 screwdriver handle. Tighten the set screw against the flat side of the shank until the blade is seated without axial play.
White band reference
We size our driver bands to correspond with these blades. The white band on the handle marks the 0.6 mm size so you can pick the right driver from the stand without checking the tip.
Care at the bench
Store these spare blades dry in their tube until needed. When a tip chips or rounds off under torque, discard it rather than grinding past the hardened working zone of the steel.

A note that touches this tool
Reading a catalogue number
What the parts of a Bergeon reference number mean, why the number is how a tool is asked for, how a suffix marks a size or a variant of the same family, and how to find the spare blade for a handle you already own.
Choosing a blade width
Why a screwdriver is chosen by the width of its blade rather than by its name, what happens to a screw head when the blade is a step too narrow, how the blades are stepped through the range, and how a worn blade is dressed or swapped.
