Friction pins in metal bracelets take steady force along their axis. We turn this replacement pin to a 0.75 mm diameter to fit directly into our 6819 pliers frame. It meets the link pin squarely to drive it through without canting in the bore.
Working tip profile
The 0.75 mm tip is turned flat across the face. It sits flush against the end of the bracelet pin so the pressing force travels in a straight line through the link.
Mounting in the tool
The shank seats directly into the jaw of the 6819 pliers. Tightening the holder secures the pin on center, keeping it aligned with the opposing support anvil during the stroke.
Stainless steel stock
We turn these tips from stainless steel so they resist corrosion from bench moisture and skin oils. The metal retains its straight profile under steady screw pressure from the pliers.
