We grind this 2.50mm blade for the wider screws found on movement bridges and casing rings. The parallel flats sit square in the slot to distribute turning force along the entire screw head. When the working edge wears down, loosen the ferrule set screw and seat one of the spare blades in its place.
Parallel ground flats
The working end is ground flat across the 2.50mm span. This profile fills the screw slot evenly rather than wedging against the top corners.
Stainless steel body
We shape the replacement blade from stainless steel to keep the edge crisp through routine assembly work. It resists rust when stored in bench trays.
Setting the blade
The blade slips directly into the driver shank and secures with the side set screw. Tighten the screw against the flat to stop any twist.
Colour code system
