Snap-on backs with tight tolerances often refuse an ordinary hand lever. We built the 6929 to address those seams. The tool works as a conventional hand pry, or delivers an internal strike along the blade shaft when pressed straight against a tight joint.

Internal hammer action

Pushing the handle straight toward the seam trips an internal spring weight. That strike travels directly along the blade shaft to start a stubborn back without heavy twisting on the handle.

Direct hand levering

For lighter work, the tool acts as a rigid hand lever. You seat the blade tip into the case notch and ease the body down to pry the back away.

Interchangeable blade fitting

The working blade seats into the front chuck so you can match the lip of the case notch. Worn blades loosen out of the collar for exchange.

Handling the body

The knurled body gives your fingers purchase during both actions. You steady the blade in the gap with one hand and advance the housing with the other.
