We build this bench press to handle threaded case backs that demand steady vertical alignment while turning. It accepts cases up to 60 mm diameter, clearing wide bezels and deep diver cases. The column holds the drive square to the back so you can apply torque without tilting the keys.
Upright drive column
The central spindle travels straight down over the case back. This keeps the drive pins seated in their notches while you turn the handwheel, avoiding the twist that happens with a hand key.
Capacity to sixty millimetres
The lower vise and upper chuck accommodate broad water-resistant cases up to 60 mm diameter. The spacing leaves clearance around tall crowns and thick outer bezels.
Adjustable case vise
The lower platform clamps the case body across its flanks to resist the opening torque. You adjust the jaws to center the watch directly beneath the driving head before lowering the spindle.
Upper chuck mount
The spindle head takes standard case dies and interchangeable pins from our 5700 series. When a pin wears or a different notch pattern comes across the bench, the tooling swaps out directly.
