We supply number 6938 for the moment hand levers approach a dial. The thin plastic slips directly over the cannon pinion and lies flat across the printed or lacquered face. Levers rest against the film while their tips engage the hand bosses.
Plastic film profile
The sheet is thin enough to slide under low-riding hands without lifting them before the levers are placed. It sits flat across markers and dial apertures.
Lever contact area
The plastic takes the downward thrust of hand removal levers as you pry the hands off their posts. Steel tips bear on the film rather than the dial surface.
Center cutout shape
The cutout allows the sheet to slide around the center post from the side. You place it without disturbing the hand stack or catching the hour wheel pipe.
Bench storage care
Keep these sheets clean between jobs. A stray speck of brass or dried oil trapped under the plastic can press into lacquer once levers apply pressure.
