| What it is | A tool in its own right |
| Bench job | Working on the movement |
The 30081-TAM-160 pairs our 1.60mm blade profile with an enlarged drum barrel section along the body. This shape gives your fingertips more purchase during delicate movement work. The swivel head turns freely under the index finger while the shaft turns between thumb and forefinger.
The drum barrel handle
The enlarged drum profile along the stem provides a wide contact area for the fingertips. You gain controlled turning without squeezing the tool hard.
Ground 1.60mm blade
We grind the 1.60mm tip flat and parallel to match standard screw slots across movement plates. The sides seat squarely down into the channel.
Free turning swivel head
The top cap rotates smoothly on the shaft. Your index finger rests still on the crown to direct downward pressure while the fingers rotate the drum.
Replacing worn blades
The side grub screw holds the blade firmly in the collet. Slacken the screw to slip out a blunt tip and seat a fresh blade.

A note that touches this tool
Reading a catalogue number
What the parts of a Bergeon reference number mean, why the number is how a tool is asked for, how a suffix marks a size or a variant of the same family, and how to find the spare blade for a handle you already own.
Choosing a blade width
Why a screwdriver is chosen by the width of its blade rather than by its name, what happens to a screw head when the blade is a step too narrow, how the blades are stepped through the range, and how a worn blade is dressed or swapped.
