The flat blade on this driver measures 1.80 mm across the working edge. We seat it in a knurled drum barrel handle so your fingertips have a broad purchase when loosening stubborn bridge and plate screws. The swivel head turns beneath the index finger while you drive the thread.
The flat blade
The 1.80 mm blade fits movement screws requiring a wider slot profile. Parallel ground sides seat deep into the screw head without riding out under torque.
Drum barrel handle
The thickened barrel provides extra surface for the thumb and forefinger. Deep knurling cut directly into the metal keeps your grip steady when you break a tight screw free.
The swivel head
The smooth head turns freely on its pivot while your index finger rests on top. You hold down downward pressure while turning the barrel with your fingers below.
Replacing the blade
A small setscrew in the side of the shaft locks the blade in place. Back out the screw to remove a worn blade and seat a fresh 1.80 mm tip.
