This torque cylinder integrates with our 7965 screwdriver handles. It disengages at a preset threshold of 15 mNm, which limits the turning force applied to small movement screws. When the rating is met, the internal mechanism slips rather than driving the fastener further.
Preset torque rating
The internal spring mechanism releases at 15 mNm. This gives a consistent limit when tightening small bridge screws and delicate train wheels.
Handle integration
We turn the cylinder body to fit the 7965 series screwdriver shafts. It locks into place along the stem so your fingers turn the cylinder directly.
Controlled release action
The internal clutch breaks cleanly once the torque threshold is reached. It slips under load instead of allowing the blade to overturn.
Storage on the bench
Keep the cylinder clean and free of loose swarf or dried oils. We recommend storing it alongside your driver set in a dry wooden block or rack.

A note that touches this tool
Reading a catalogue number
What the parts of a Bergeon reference number mean, why the number is how a tool is asked for, how a suffix marks a size or a variant of the same family, and how to find the spare blade for a handle you already own.
Choosing a blade width
Why a screwdriver is chosen by the width of its blade rather than by its name, what happens to a screw head when the blade is a step too narrow, how the blades are stepped through the range, and how a worn blade is dressed or swapped.
