What it isA tool in its own right
Bench jobOpening and closing a case

The 7971 pen cleans watch crystals and bare dials during casing and inspection. Shaped sockets contact the glass without fouling the case edge or bezel. It clears haze and dust from crystals, stones, and bench loupes before the case is closed.

Shaped cleaning sockets

We shape the interchangeable sockets to follow flat crystals, domed profiles, and open dial spaces. The working face gathers films and fine debris during rubbing instead of spreading them across the glass.

Contact at the glass

The pen format brings the contact patch close to the surface while keeping your fingers off the case. You clean right to the inner wall of the bezel without leaving grease or skin oils behind.

Dial and stone work

The socket material works dry across precious stones, printed dials, and polished markers. It lifts loose haze and leaves the surface clear under bench lighting without fluid residue.

Loupe optical maintenance

Between casing jobs, use the shaped tip on the glass elements of your eyeglass loupes. It removes the grease rings left by brow contact and keeps the field clear for inspection.
