We make the 15432-A balance cock lever to give your fingers controlled leverage under the cock when freeing steady pins. The 5 mm working end fits the tight clearances around the escapement. You guide the lift without binding the hairspring against the plate.
The 5 mm foot
We machine the working foot to a 5 mm width so it slides beneath the balance bridge. It supports the underside flat while you raise the bridge off its locating pins.
Black finished body
The black surface treatment keeps bench reflections down under high magnification. It lets you watch the hairspring coils and balance staff clear the mainplate without glare distracting your eye.
Controlled bridge lifting
Lifting a balance cock by hand invites bent pivots if the steady pins drag. This lever applies vertical force squarely at the bridge heel, keeping the balance assembly aligned as it clears the jewel.
Position at the bench
Keep the 15432-A within reach beside your movement holder during assembly and strip-down. The slender shank rests between thumb and forefinger, leaving your other hand free to steady the balance rim with tweezers.
