Airborne dust settles on oily balance pivots the moment you turn away from the bench. We form this transparent plexiglass cover to sit flat over movements, uncased dials, or stripped components during assembly. At 90 x 225 x 43mm, it spans several jobs at once while keeping the parts visible beneath clear walls.
Clear plexiglass hood
We mold the hood from transparent plastic so you can check the orientation of parts without lifting the cover. Light passes through clearly, keeping work visible while the bench rests between steps.
Low bench profile
The rectangular footprint measures 90 x 225 x 43mm, broad enough to cover an entire row of movement holders and hand tools. The low roof keeps the interior volume small so settled air stays undisturbed.
Flat rim seating
The bottom edge sits flat against a bench mat or wooden tray. A close fit along the perimeter stops stray bench sweepings, hair, and dried oil flakes from drifting inside while cases are left open.
Keeping it clean
Plexiglass attracts dust when wiped dry with coarse cloth. Wash the cover with lukewarm soapy water or blow it clear with a rubber hand blower before placing it down over clean components.

Opening a stubborn case back
Snap backs against screw backs against monobloc cases, how a case key and its dies engage a fluted rim, why the case is held in a holder rather than in the hand, and what to do when the back has been opened badly before.
