Replacement Flat Tip Stainless Steel Watch Sizing Tool

This flat spatula tip is the replacement point for our 6111 handle. We turn the insert from stainless steel with a broad 4mm fork designed to compress shoulderless spring bars and leather strap shoulders cleanly. When a working edge burrs or rounds off, you unscrew the spent point and thread this fresh one into the tool collar.

Spatula fork profile

We mill the working end flat across 4mm of width. The wide notch catches the collar of a spring bar through thick leather or rubber where a narrow pin cannot find purchase.

Stainless steel stock

We turn each insert from solid stainless steel. The material takes a clean edge at the fork, holds its shape against stiff springs, and resists workshop corrosion across years on the bench.

Threaded tool mount

The threaded shank matches the internal bore of our 6111 handle. You seat it finger-tight into the knurled end, where it stays true without wobbling while you work between the lugs.

Replacing a worn tip

Tips wear down and nick over thousands of strap changes. Keeping a spare 55-150-2 in your bench drawer means you can replace a blunted fork immediately without replacing the complete brass handle.
