| What it is | A spare part for a tool you already have |
| Bench job | Changing a strap or bracelet |
This spare pin seats directly into the tool body when a working tip wears down or bends under load. We turn both ends from stainless steel to offer two distinct diameters in a single reversible insert. It handles drilled lugs and clasp adjustments across the bench.
Reversible pin ends
One end is turned to 0.8 mm while the opposite end finishes at 1.0 mm. You invert the point in the chuck depending on the hole diameter of the lug or clasp.
Stainless steel stock
We turn this replacement point from solid stainless steel. The material resists corrosion from bench moisture and holds its cylindrical profile under regular compression against spring bars.
Seating in the chuck
The center shank fits straight into the knurled holder of the handle. Tightening the threaded collet clamps the body firmly on center without canting the working tip.
Replacing a worn tip
A bent or burred pin catches in lug holes and should be removed immediately. Loosen the collet, pull the spent point, and secure the fresh 55-150-1 in its place.

Changing a strap at the lugs
The order of work when a strap or bracelet comes off: which end of the spring bar tool does what, the difference between a fork end and a pin end, drilled lugs against closed lugs, and why the bracelet is held rather than gripped.
