Fork tips round off and split after enough stubborn shoulder springs. This 3 mm flat replacement tip threads directly into the handle body of our standard spring bar tool, restoring the working end without replacing the knurled grip. We turn the part from stainless steel with a shallow fork profile intended for leather and rubber straps.
The fork profile
The 3 mm wide fork spans across standard leather straps and rubber bands to catch the spring bar flange. Its inner cutout seats against the pivot shoulder without spreading the prongs wide.
Stainless steel stock
We turn and mill each tip from solid stainless steel bar. The material resists corrosion from bench moisture and holds its ground edge through regular strap changes at the bench.
Threaded replacement
A fine thread on the shank seats flush against the tool collar. When an old fork wears dull or takes a burr, unscrew it from the handle and thread this spare home with your fingers.
Bench storage
Keep spare tips in a labelled vial near your bracelet block. Checking the prongs under a loupe before fitting a fresh strap shows if the edges remain clean and parallel.
