Replacement Fork for Bracelet Pliers 7825 Tool, Grey

Forked tips wear or deform over months of compressing stubborn spring bars inside fitted end links. We supply this spare tip, catalogue number 7825-BR, as a single replacement piece for our 7825 bracelet pliers. It seats directly into the pliers jaw and secures with hex screws.

Narrow fork profile

The fork ends are ground thin to pass through small access slots on modern fitted bracelets. They seat against the shoulder of the spring bar without wedging against the solid end link.

Mounting into the jaw

Each tip slips into the milled recess on the 7825 pliers arm. We include two hex screws to clamp the shank flat and hold the fork square to the work.

Single piece supply

We supply the 7825-BR as one individual tip. A watchmaker replacing a single damaged side does not need to discard the matching fork across the jaw.

Dressing the steel

When a fork edge burrs from heavy use, dress the flats lightly on an Arkansas stone. Once the tines thin out or spread, loosen the screws and seat a fresh tip.
