We turn these upper suction heads to seat against case backs that lack notches, slots, or polygonal flats. The adiprene contact surface grips the metal face under downward pressure from the tool spindle. Each head mounts directly into our vice for waterproof cases and fits the 5700z frame.
Adiprene contact faces
The working faces are moulded from adiprene. The material conforms slightly across flat or shallow curved metal to take traction without requiring drive pins or milled notches in the case.
Spindle height adjustment
Each head threads onto the upper carrier so you can set the working depth. Rotating the body brings the friction cup down to meet the back while the case remains secured in the lower vice.
Six stepped diameters
The set covers 16mm, 19mm, 22mm, 26mm, 30mm and 34mm diameters. Select a cup that matches the flat diameter of the back without fouling outer bevels, lugs, or protruding rim steps.
Mounting the head
The upper shank seats into our standard waterproof case vice and the 5700z press spindle. Keep the adiprene free of bench dust and watch oils to maintain consistent purchase during opening.
