| What it is | A tool in its own right |
| Bench job | Changing a strap or bracelet |
We assembled kit 7813 for sizing metal links and swapping straps at the bench. It packs screwdrivers, a spring bar tool, flat nose pliers, tweezers, a hammer, and a pin pusher into a single fitted case. Everything sits in cut foam so tools do not knock together between adjustments.
Fitted holding block
The grooved block supports links square to the bench while you drive pins out. It holds the bracelet steady so the pin pusher tip stays aligned with the link hole.
Dual head hammer
One face is steel for firm taps on link pins, while the nylon face meets surfaces where bare metal would mar. The light handle gives direct control over each blow.
Pliers and tweezers
Flat nose pliers grip stubborn friction pins once started from the link. Our tweezers pick up loose spring bars, collar sleeves, and split pins from the bench without fumbling.
Storage in foam
The zippered case holds every handle, point, and loupe in dedicated foam cutouts. Spare tips and replacement pins stay sorted rather than rolling loose across the workspace.

A note that touches this tool
Changing a strap at the lugs
The order of work when a strap or bracelet comes off: which end of the spring bar tool does what, the difference between a fork end and a pin end, drilled lugs against closed lugs, and why the bracelet is held rather than gripped.
