What it isA tool in its own right
Bench jobChanging a strap or bracelet

A threaded pusher aligns a straight steel pin against the link joint. We turn the knurled knob by hand to press the pin through, using stepped spacers to set the bracelet height. The black body supports the link walls squarely while the tip drives the friction pin free.

Pushing pin diameter

We fit this tool with a 0.80mm pin ground to meet standard bracelet holes. The tip drives straight through the link without canting sideways under hand pressure.

Stepped height spacers

Removable spacers seat underneath the links to match three different bracelet thicknesses. Raising the link keeps the pusher centered on the friction pin axis.

Bracelet width capacity

The channel accepts bracelet links up to 22mm wide. The link rests flat against the support wall while the threaded stem advances into the bore.

Replacing worn tips

The driving pin unscrews from the threaded spindle when bent or worn. A fresh pin threads directly into the front of the shaft to restore alignment.

Changing a strap at the lugs

The order of work when a strap or bracelet comes off: which end of the spring bar tool does what, the difference between a fork end and a pin end, drilled lugs against closed lugs, and why the bracelet is held rather than gripped.
