We machine the body of the 7230 to steady the bracelet link while the pin is driven out. The threaded spindle advances the pusher tip in a straight line through the link hole. It keeps the driving force centered along the axis of the pin.
Threaded drive spindle
The knurled knob turns the threaded arbor forward by hand. This gives controlled, incremental pressure against the pin without requiring a hammer on the bracelet link.
Support bed
A stepped channel seats the bracelet flat against the tool frame. The link rests directly opposite the drive hole so the pin exits cleanly into open space.
Pusher tip fit
The narrow hardened tip engages the end of the friction pin squarely. When a tip wears or bends under load, you unthread the collet to seat a fresh point.
Bench grip
The solid body rests on the bench mat while your fingers guide the spindle. It stays put under hand pressure, leaving your other hand free to steady the links.
