| Bench job | Setting up the bench |
Dust settles on open movements and clean trays faster than the bench can be cleared. We shape the bulb of our 15733 blower to compress cleanly under the palm and direct a dry puff through the nozzle. It clears loose lint without bringing fingers near a dial.
The bulb body
A pliable bulb sits upright on the bench until needed. Squeezing it expels air through the tip and draws fresh air back in without pulling bench dust through the nozzle.
The narrow tip
The nozzle directs a narrow jet of dry air across open bridges, wheels, and parts trays. It keeps the bench worker from blowing moisture onto bare steel parts from the mouth.
Bench placement
We weight the bottom so the blower rests standing on its base beside the mat. It stays clear of oilers and screwdrivers while remaining ready to pick up between assembly steps.
Clearing dry debris
Loose lint, dried pegwood dust, and pith filings lift off the movement under the air stream. The tip reaches into recessed jewel cups and pinion leaves without touching the metal.
