Rotor bolts on automatic calibres require a drive profile shaped to engage the locking ring without biting the plate below. We turn the 6923 with a hollow body that holds the spare tips inside the handle. You change the working end according to the calibre on your movement ring.
Engaging the rotor bolt
The working tip matches the bolt profile found on common automatic movements. It turns the locking ring directly without levering against the oscillating weight bearing or the surrounding bridges.
Storage inside the handle
Unscrew the end cap to reach the spare tips kept in the body. Keeping the working ends inside the handle stops them from straying across the bench mat or rattling loose in a drawer.
Calibre specific ends
The interchangeable tips suit ETA calibres such as the 7750, 2891 through 2895, and 2001-1. Each tip seats into the nose of the tool and locks in line with the knurled grip.
Grip and turning control
A knurled barrel gives your fingers purchase during the quarter turn needed to release or secure the ring. The straight profile lets you keep the driver vertical above the movement.
