Loose lint and dried debris belong off the dial before the crystal drops into place. We supply the 8809-RD dust pen to connect directly into the Air Vacuum system on bench unit 7943. You hold it like a writing pen, bringing the tip right to the plate without blowing dust across the rest of the bench.
Straight rear connector
The tail of the pen carries a straight coupling turned to accept the vacuum line from the 7943 unit. It seats firmly so the line does not pull loose while you work around a movement holder.
Pen body grip
We shape the barrel to sit naturally between the thumb and forefinger. The profile lets you guide the intake orifice along bridge bevels and rehaut corners with small, deliberate hand movements.
Air path design
Air pulls inward rather than blowing outward. Dust lifts directly into the suction line instead of scattering across open jewel cups, balance springs, or freshly cleaned train wheels nearby.
Keeping it clear
Inspect the intake end before bringing it over an open movement. Any dried oil or residue collected around the orifice should be wiped away so the aperture draws clean air every time.
