A bracelet pin needs to move straight out of its link without the pin tool walking sideways. We machine the 55-031 pliers with hardened pushing pins that stay true under direct force. The tool closes in the palm, letting you feel the pin seat before applying pressure.
Hardened pushing pins
We harden the working pins so they resist bending when a stubborn link pin resists. They press square into the link hole and take direct force along their axis.
Parallel jaw action
The jaws meet squarely as the handles close. This keeps the tip aligned with the bore of the link rather than canting off to the side during the stroke.
Grip and travel
The handles give you direct feedback on how the pin is seating. You feel the initial resistance give way as the pin starts its travel out of the sleeve.
Plastic storage case
We supply the tool inside its own plastic case. It keeps the hardened pins from knocking against files or heavy steel tools in the bench drawer.
