Watchmakers Double Lens Eyeglass Loupe 15x Magnification

This eyeglass pairs two lenses to reach 15x power. It brings fine escapement work and pivot inspection directly to the eye. We assemble the optical pair in a lightweight body shaped to sit steadily in the orbit of the eye during close bench tasks.

Optical pair

Two separate lenses work in sequence to provide 15x magnification. The arrangement controls distortion across the field so you can inspect jewel holes and pallet stones without shifting the work away from the center.

Removable lenses

Both lenses unscrew from the body. This lets you clean dust from the inner glass faces or replace a scratched element after hard shop use without replacing the entire eyeglass.

Body profile

The body is turned to rest directly in the eye socket or under a standard wire headband. The flared rim stays put while your hands remain on the tweezers and the movement.

Bench application

At 15x power, the focal distance is short. The glass sits close to the work, giving you the reach needed to check pinion leaves, hairspring coils, and balance pivots.
