Pliable rubber compound

The soft yellow rubber compresses across the case back to maximize contact area. Its tacky surface grips flat, polished, or fluted metal surfaces when you apply steady downward pressure with your palm.

Operation by palm friction

You press the ball directly against the center of the case back and turn. Because no steel pins enter the wrench notches, the tool relies entirely on surface friction to rotate threaded backs.

Diameter and hand feel

At 65 mm, the sphere fills the palm of the hand. The size gives you enough leverage to spin threaded backs off once loosened, or to run them down smoothly along clean case threads.

Bench maintenance and care
