When a screw head shears flat against a bridge, standard driver blades find nothing to turn. We fit this tool with double-ended twist pins ground down to 0.8 mm to grip broken threaded stubs. It holds the work steady while you back the sheared shank out along its own thread.
Double-sided twist pins
Each pin carries two usable working ends ground to bite into broken thread stock. When one tip wears down from use, loosen the collar and reverse the pin in the body.
Fine diameter profile
The 0.8 mm working diameter reaches into narrow taps on plates and bridges. It contacts only the sheared stub, keeping clear of surrounding movement surfaces while you work.
Solid body grip
The knurled barrel gives your fingers steady purchase over the work. You control the downward pressure and turning motion directly, feeling when the broken shank breaks free.
Bench drawer storage
Keep the tool and its spare pin in a shallow tray or bench drawer between jobs. Store it clean, dry, and away from loose steel files that dull the ground biting edges.

Cleaning putty and what it lifts, why solvents are kept away from some surfaces, the point of a bench mat and a tray with a lip, cloths and brushes, and how tools are put away so the next job starts on a clear board.
