What it isA spare part for a tool you already have
Bench jobWorking on the movement

We arrange our flat screwdrivers on a carousel that turns on the bench so the right diameter is ready to hand. Each handle carries a plain knurled grip, a free-turning head, and a set screw that locks the blade in line. Matching tubes hold the spare blades beside each driver.

Sizes across the range

The stand holds drivers in 0.5 mm, 0.6 mm, 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.2 mm, 1.4 mm, 1.6 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm, and 3.0 mm sizes. Each slot keeps the tool vertical and clear of the bench mat.

Handles and swivel heads

The knurled body gives the fingers purchase while the top cap turns under the index finger. That head stays stationary while the shaft rotates, keeping the flat blade seated squarely in the screw slot.

Spare blades in tubes

Clear tubes set into the carousel hold replacement tips for each size. When a blade wears or notches, loosen the side grub screw, slide the old tip out of the shank, and secure the fresh blade in place.

Rotating workshop stand

The weighted base spins smoothly to bring the needed diameter to your hand. Drivers and spare tubes sit in matched pairs around the perimeter, numbered by size under catalogue 6899-S10 for quick identification.

A note that touches this tool

Reading a catalogue number

What the parts of a Bergeon reference number mean, why the number is how a tool is asked for, how a suffix marks a size or a variant of the same family, and how to find the spare blade for a handle you already own.

Choosing a blade width

Why a screwdriver is chosen by the width of its blade rather than by its name, what happens to a screw head when the blade is a step too narrow, how the blades are stepped through the range, and how a worn blade is dressed or swapped.
