A screwdriver tip takes wear with regular use on heavy movement screws and case components. We supply this 3.00 mm replacement blade to renew the working end of the tool when the original face dulls. The steel profile matches the factory slot width of the 6899 series driver body.
Ground blade profile
We grind the flat tip to 3.00 mm so it seats squarely across the screw head. The parallel flanks enter the slot fully rather than riding up on the edges.
Stainless steel body
The blade is shaped from stainless steel to resist workshop moisture and bench debris. It holds an edge through repeated movement teardowns and assembly work.
Driver barrel fit
The shank matches the bore of our 6899 handle. Loosen the set screw on the screwdriver body, slide the worn steel out, and seat this one flush.
Dressing and care
Dress the tip on an India stone when the edges begin to round over. Keep the flat faces square to preserve proper engagement with large movement screws.
