/7720-5 Automatic Oiler No.5 Watchmaker Oil Tool

Cap jewels and shock settings require oil placed cleanly without dismantling the assembly. We built the 2720-5 drop-injection oiler to sit in position over the jewel before any lubricant leaves the reservoir. A press of the top button releases a metered amount onto the pivot.

The fine needle

The slender tip reaches past bridges into cup bearings and shock settings. You steady the needle against the jewel face before pressing the actuator, which keeps the droplet centered on the stone.

Internal fluid reservoir

Lubricant stays sealed inside the body of the tool between applications. Keeping the supply enclosed protects it from bench dust, airborne lint, and dried residue that accumulate in open oil cups.

Drop injection action

Depressing the button dispenses a consistent microscopic droplet directly to the contact point. The mechanical feed deposits the charge without wiping the tip across surrounding brass or steel plates.

Interchangeable body components

Working parts on the 2720-5 unscrew for thorough solvent rinsing during regular maintenance. Worn needles and internal feed components can be swapped out individually over years at the bench.
