& 6767-F Springbar Spare Head Folks Set

Spring bar forks take direct pressure against steel shoulders and leather edges, so the tips will eventually show wear. We turn these replacement points with standard threads to seat straight into our 6767 and 7767 handles. Keeping fresh ends on the bench lets you swap out a bruised prong without changing your handle.

Threaded shank fit

We cut the threads to mate directly into the tapped ends of our 6767 and 7767 handles. The shoulder seats flat against the handle nose so the tip stays centered under pressure.

Fork profile dressing

The prongs are shaped to catch the flange of a shoulder or double flange spring bar between lug walls. We leave the fork face dressed clean so it bites the ring rather than riding over it.

Handle interchange

These replacement ends thread into the classic 6767 body as well as the 7767 variant. You unscrew the worn point by hand or with smooth pliers and run the replacement down to its shoulder.

Bench tip replacement

Forks pick up burrs from hard steel cases over time. Keeping spare tips in a drawer means you discard the worn piece immediately instead of dressing down a prong until the geometry changes.
