Replacement Fine Fork for 6767-F Spring Bar Tool

This fine fork threads directly into the knurled handle of our 6767-F spring bar tool. We shape the prong tips narrow so they slip into the tight gap between a strap or solid end link and the lug wall. When a tip wears down or bends under heavy use, you replace only this insert.

Fine fork profile

The prongs are cut narrow to catch the shoulder of a spring bar where space is tight. They reach into small openings in bracelets and fitted leather straps where wider forks cannot enter.

Threaded shank fit

The threaded end mates with the body of the 6767-F handle. You screw it home by hand until the shoulder seats flat against the metal nose of the tool.

Replacing a worn tip

Spring bar forks take hard lateral loads and can burr or bend over time. Swapping this part restores the working edge without taking a stone to a damaged tip or replacing the entire handle.

Lug clearance work

We mill the fork thin so the watchmaker can see the spring bar flange while compressing it. The fork holds the ridge firmly as you draw the pivot clear of the lug hole.
