| Bench job | Working on the movement |
When seating a cell into an electronic calibre, steel tweezers risk completing a circuit across the plates. We form the 6751-05 entirely from carbon fibre to keep the contact surfaces non-conductive. The tips remain rigid enough to guide the battery under its retaining bridle without flexing off center.
Carbon fibre body
We mould the arms from carbon fibre composite. The material does not carry current between the positive case and negative terminal of the cell, and it leaves no metal filings on clean movement bridges.
Pointed tip profile
The tips taper to reach into narrow battery wells. You can steady the edge of a cell or nudge a retaining clip aside without marring the gold-plated surfaces around the electronic module.
Light spring action
The arms join with a gentle tension that responds to light finger pressure. A firm pinch is unnecessary, so you retain tactile awareness of how the cell settles into its isolator.
Cleanroom bench use
The synthetic composite does not shed particles onto freshly cleaned plates. Wipe the tips clean with a dry tissue before bringing them over an open watch to keep lint away from the gear train.
