Bare skin leaves grease across freshly cleaned bridges and dial surfaces. We supply these small latex finger cots under reference 7968-15 to cover individual fingertips during assembly and casing. They are antistatic and kept free of powder so no residue transfers onto train wheels or balance pivots.
Latex construction
The sheath stretches over the finger tip to form a close layer between the skin and the work. It isolates skin oils without adding the bulk of a full glove across the palm.
Antistatic formulation
The material is formulated to dissipate static charge during handling. This helps keep small components and hairsprings from clinging unexpectedly to the fingertip when placing parts into the plate.
Powder-free surface
No talc or dusting agent is used inside or outside the cot. The clean surface avoids introducing loose particulate into oiled jewel holes or onto polished pinion leaves.
Bench replenishment
These are consumable items meant to be discarded once taken off or soiled. We supply them in bulk packs so a fresh cot is within reach whenever you sit down to case a movement.
