What it isA tool in its own right
Bench jobWorking on the movement

We shape the 7026-PMC-2A specifically for the hand setting stage on complex dials. The tips turn at a right angle, which clears high hour markers and subdial posts while you position each hand over its arbor. It gives your fingers a clear line of sight from the side of the movement.

Angled neck profile

The neck drops at a ninety-degree bend before reaching the work. This geometry keeps your fingers clear of tall applied markers and chronograph registers as you align the pipe with the pivot.

Rounded tip geometry

We dress the working tips with a rounded contour rather than sharp points. The broad contact face supports the hand flat during placement and avoids gouging the underside of the register hands.

Hand setting clearance

Placing hands over thick indexes requires an approach from above without tilting the shank. The offset allows the tips to settle parallel to the dial plate while the body of the tool remains lifted.

Catalogue series pairing

This pattern belongs to our 7026 family of specialized bench tweezers. Each variant provides a distinct tip geometry to address clearance problems that standard straight shanks cannot manage.
