When a case is opened or hands are being set, the work needs a steady base and cover from bench dust. We pair a transparent bell with a reversible cushion base in the 30097-EC. One side seats flat work, while the reverse is turned out concave for domed crystals.
Reversible cushion face
One side supports flat assemblies while the hollowed face receives domed crystals. The soft seating takes the case weight directly without rocking, keeping the dial and hands level while you work the movement back into place.
Separate screw tray
The base ring incorporates a perimeter recess to park loose screws, clamps, and stem pieces while the movement rests in the middle. Everything stays together under the dome until you reach for the tweezers to reassemble.
Transparent bell cover
The clear cover fits down over the cushion to isolate open movements from airborne lint between assembly steps. You can check the position of a dial or hand clearance through the side without lifting the lid.
Bench footprint
The base sits flat on the mat with low mass, staying where you set it. When work pauses overnight or between cleaning cycles, the 30097-EC keeps the uncased train and loose parts together in one spot.
