| What it is | A tool in its own right |
| Bench job | Working on the movement |
We size this driver for the finest screws inside a movement. The flat blade fits narrow slots, while the white ring identifies the 0.60 mm width on your rack. Your index finger rests on the swivel head while your thumb and forefinger turn the knurled barrel below.
The blade profile
We grind the parallel flats down to 0.60 mm so the tip reaches the bottom of the screw slot. It seats squarely across the full width rather than pinching the top edges.
White colour code
The coloured ring tells you the tip width without picking up the tool or reading an engraving under magnification. White marks our 0.60 mm size across our movement benches.
Swivel head action
The cap turns freely on top of the barrel. It takes the steady downward pressure of your index finger while your other fingers rotate the knurled grip below.
Replacing the tip
The side set screw clamps the blade inside the shaft. Back out the screw with another driver, slide out the broken or worn blade, and seat a fresh one.

A note that touches this tool
Reading a catalogue number
What the parts of a Bergeon reference number mean, why the number is how a tool is asked for, how a suffix marks a size or a variant of the same family, and how to find the spare blade for a handle you already own.
Choosing a blade width
Why a screwdriver is chosen by the width of its blade rather than by its name, what happens to a screw head when the blade is a step too narrow, how the blades are stepped through the range, and how a worn blade is dressed or swapped.
