A movement holder must keep the mainplate flat while your tweezers and screwdrivers do their work. We shape the 4039-P from synthetic material so metal edges seat against a softer shoulder. Turn the knurled center screw to open the jaws, or flip the block over to take a different diameter.
Reversible synthetic body
The block is cut with distinct profiles on top and bottom. One side takes larger calibres while the reverse side takes the smaller range, giving you two step depths in one tool on the bench.
Knurled center screw
A knurled steel screw opens and closes the synthetic jaws. It gives you precise control over the clamping pressure so the movement sits level without tilting as you tighten.
Stepped jaw profiles
The holding lips are cut as steps rather than smooth ramps. The edge of the mainplate rests squarely against the synthetic face, keeping the bridge work parallel to your bench top.
Cleaning and care
Synthetic material wipes clean with a dry cloth or a dab of alcohol to lift dried oils. Keep grit off the stepped lips so plates seat flat every time you mount a calibre.
