What it isA tool in its own right
Bench jobFitting hands

We make the Presto 7 hand-remover under catalogue number 30671-7 for lifting hands, pinions, and third wheels clear of the arbor. The design relies on central counterpoints rather than dial feet to brace the pull. An orange body marks the tool on the bench rack.

Turnable counterpoint head

Four selectable counterpoint tips turn into position above the post with diameters of 0.40 mm, 0.65 mm, 0.90 mm, and 1.15 mm. You select the diameter that seats squarely against the arbor pivot.

Clearance from the dial

Because the tool bears against the center pivot rather than resting pads onto the dial face, it works over curved dials, chronograph registers, and bare movements where no dial is fitted.

Lifting jaws

The side jaws slip beneath the hand boss, pinion, or wheel. As you squeeze the spring levers, the jaws close inward and lift straight up along the axis of the center post.

Orange body finish

The spring frame is finished in orange for quick identification among the Presto levers on your tool rack. Keep the lifting tips clean and store the tool dry in a drawer block.
