We prepare this woven textile cloth with an embedded polishing compound for wiping precious metals. It belongs on the finishing bench beside the casing cushion. A light pass lifts surface tarnish from gold and silver components before final delivery.
Impregnated textile surface
The woven fabric carries a dry polishing formulation distributed through the weave. It acts directly on gold and silver parts without requiring separate pastes or liquid cleaners at the bench.
Precious metal finishing
We prepare this cloth for hand wiping polished case flanks, bezels, and case backs. The dry treatment lifts oxidation and tarnish as the textile passes over the metal face.
Bench handling
Use the cloth with light fingertip pressure against the bare metal work. It stays folded in a bench drawer or box to keep airborne grit and swarf away from the treated weave.
Consumable life
The fabric darkens as it picks up oxides and metal residue during cleaning passes. Once the treated fibres fill with material, replace the cloth from the 6719 series rather than washing it.
