CROWNAL Swiss Made 7033 Rodico Premium Cleaning Product Watch Tools

Number 7033 is our dry cleaning putty for fine movement work. It takes up debris by contact alone, without leaving a film or relying on liquid solvents across delicate surfaces. Watchmakers pinch off a small piece as needed, work it between the fingers, and discard it once it gathers residue.

Contact pick up

The compound adheres to loose debris, stray lint, and excess oil without smearing. Pressing a shaped point against a train wheel or balance bridge draws out particles that a brush might scatter across the movement plates.

Surface finish

Because the putty contains no free solvents, it touches matte, polished, and plated brass parts without softening varnishes or fogging lacquered dial faces. It leaves the dry metal surface free of foreign film after contact.

Shaping the material

A fresh portion rolls into a point for getting between bridge cocks or flattens out to lift dust from larger plate recesses. The consistency holds the formed shape during hand work before relaxing back into the bench block.

Managing the supply

Store the block wrapped in its parchment between uses to keep ambient workshop dust off the surface. Discard any section that has gathered black grease, dial tarnish, or metal filings rather than folding contamination back into clean putty.
