We house this 4 mm abrasive bundle in a pen body with a mechanical clutch. It feeds forward as the face wears down, giving you a firm point to draw across a brushed case flank or a bracelet link. Keep it clear of mirror polished metal, where coarse abrasive fibers will cut right through the gloss.
The four millimeter bundle
The 4 mm core gives a broad enough contact patch to blend straight grain lines along a lug without wandering off course. It cuts an even, satin texture across raw or unpolished metal surfaces.
Clutch and feed mechanism
You twist or click the top ferrule to advance fresh material as the end wears down. Extending only a short stub keeps the bundle stiff, while feeding out more lets the strands splay into recessed corners.
Pen body and grip
The tool sits in the hand like a drawing pencil. That familiar balance makes it straightforward to hold a steady hand pressure and pull long, continuous strokes along the flat of a case without rocking the tip.
Polished surface caution
This coarse bundle is meant for matte and brushed graining only. Keep it away from bright mirror bevels and polished bezels, where loose abrasive strands will cut sharp drag marks into the mirror sheen.
